For the 30th anniversary of Cal Ripken, Jr.'s 2,131st consecutive play streak, I designed and animated graphics for the Baltimore Orioles' pre-game celebration, taking our fans back to historic Camden Yards in 1995. As the team's staff motion designer, this required archival research, compiling footage of the night of the streak, and recreating those designs for a modern show. Thanks to coordination with an incredible Creative and Game Presentation team, this gave the ceremony celebrating Cal an appearance that resonated with fans that were present for the September 6th, 1995 game, and new Orioles fans.

It was an interesting challenge to recreate graphics from archives, and then age it to match how the jumbotron appeared over three decades ago. It was intensely personal to get this right, as I grew up going to Orioles' games and watching these game graphics.

This was our last opportunity to explore this concept as the jumbotron in Camden Yards would go through a significant overhaul in the following offseason, going from two screens to one.
